ROOMS and PRICES: Breakfast included.  All rooms subject to a 6.875% State sales tax.  Reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit that equals the price of one night in one room.  Cancellations within one week of occupancy forfeits the deposit.  For cancellations over seven days from occupancy the deposit is fully refunded.        All three single upstairs bedrooms open into the parlor with Direct TV, DVD/VHS player, DSL wireless internet  computer station and share a bathroom with shower.

            The Downstairs Livingroom is available to all guests to use for TV viewing, enjoying their own DVDs, or reading. The front door ramp entry into this room is through the gamingroom porch.  A large pocket door separates the Livingroom from the Diningroom and the staircase to the other bedrooms.

OPENING JULY 1ST:     

THE BUNKHOUSE !!   This home will be available for larger groups to rent for extended stays where they can provide their own meals. This three bedroom two bath home will offer a master bedroom with queen bed and a day bed, a second bedroom with an extra long twin bed and the third bedroom has a bunkbed with full size on the bottom and twin on top. The livingroom sofa makes into a full size bed.  A television can receive a couple of local channels. This house will be fully furnished with cooking equipment, dishes and all linens and some basic spices and coffee and tea. .

      Private day tours of the area can be arranged.  Tours will include a presentation of your host's early Scandinavian ancestors with a visit to the original 1885 log hewed cabin that stands today on the old homestead, a visit to the Viking Runestone at the Alexandria Historical Museum and a look at the conservation efforts to restore this region to the wonderful prairie grasslands and wetlands that captivated those early pioneers. This tour will also look into the future with a glimpse of some industries on the forefront of Eco-Farming diversity that are bringing new prosperity to this part of America.
